The Embassy of the Republic of Korea invites not only the K-POP fans but all music and dance lovers to 2019 Changwon K-POP World Festival – Romania Preliminaries on 29 June, this Saturday, from 17:00 to 20:00 at Palatul National al Copiilor (Bulevardul Tineretului 8-10, București 040353).
This global competition, known in previous years as the K-Pop World Festival, aims to discover the next generation of K-Pop stars from around the world from 98 countries, offering the chance to compete on stage at the world finals in Korea in October broadcasted in 2019 Changwon K-POP World Festival!
The Romania Final Round on 29 June will follow a live audition format where contestants perform for a panel of judges as they compete for the top spot. Romania Final Round winners will be selected that same day, one from each category among 8 teams for performance and 6 teams for vocal and to be considered as the finalist candidates for the world final in October. The most important vote is the jury, however the audience also has a percentage allocated in the final score, so we encourage everyone to come and support the young and motivated contestants! Free soft drinks and water will be provided during the voting breaks, while enjoying the K-Culture Corner.
Not only the competitors will be awarded with the possible tickets to Korea and electronic devices together with many other surprise gifts, but also the audience will have chance to win the newest K-POP albums and DVDs of BTS, GOT 7, MONSTA X and other Korean traditional crafts and Korean cosmetics, by participating in prize draws.
Last but not least, celebrating Romania’s participants for K-POP World Festival after 4 years of waiting, Mrs. Marina Almășan, one of the most well-known television producers in Romania, would be our host for the event, together with our strong and talented jury comprised of Mr. Mihai Traistariu and Ms. Andra Gogan.
